Alicia Lewis is an American journalist. She is currently the morning anchor and traffic reporter at KARE 11 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Whether she is in front of the camera or behind the lens. Lewis is passionate about engaging communities through the art of storytelling and enjoys sharing that passion with viewers.

Before moving to the Twin Cities, Alicia was the morning reporter and fill-in anchor at WICS ABC Newschannel 20 in Springfield, Illinois.

Lewis’s wonderful parents live in Osceola, WI. her big brother, his wife, as well as her cute niece and nephew,  live in St. Cloud, Minn. Her two hilarious big sisters live in Minneapolis. She says that she is beyond happy with how lucky she is to have such an amazing family.

After college, Alicia spent her time as a multimedia journalist for WICS ABC Newschannel 20 in Springfield, Illinois. While there she excelled in enterprising lead stories, covering breaking news, delivering daily live reports, networking within the community and engaging viewers through social media.

At WICS, Alicia was a reporter and fill-in anchor for the morning show as well as our weekend evening shows. Lewis started her career in journalism at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota. where she worked at UTVS News, a local television station in St. Cloud.

As the Managing Editor, Lead Anchor and Field Reporter, Alicia prided herself on sharing local events and stories of the individuals within her community. Lewis also wrote and produced three live newscasts daily. Lewis is currently the morning anchor and traffic reporter at KARE 11 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
