Ashlei King is an American journalist working as an anchor for KLRT FOX16 News. She was born in Italy but spent part of her childhood in Germany.
She has profound situated roots in Arkansas. The King side of her family is initially from Southeast Arkansas (Dermott, Monticello, and McGehee regions).
She actually has family who lives nearby. Irregular Fun Fact: Ashlei is identified with music symbol Michael Jackson. His grandma and her extraordinary granddad were first cousins.
Ashlei acquired her Bachelor of Journalism degree from the University of Texas at Austin. During Ashlei’s extra time, you can discover her spending time with her family, eating at opening in-the-divider cafés, and afterward working off the calories at the exercise center.

Ashlei joined the Fox16 Good Day morning program as co-anchor in July 2018. She worked the last four years with KABB FOX 29. While there, she was nominated for an Emmy for her work on a documentary highlighting the city’s Martin Luther King Jr.

Before returning to the Alamo City, Ashlei spent two years in Tulsa, Oklahoma working for the CBS-affiliate. While in Tulsa, she covered a variety of stories from tornadoes to devastating wildfires that torched hundreds of homes.
Her most memorable moment was when she did a live interview on CNN with Don Lemon about a racially motivated shooting spree in Tulsa.
