Ben Wagner is an American sportscaster. He is the co-anchor of WISN 12 NewsHe joined the WISN 12 News team in January 2016. Since March 2018, he has worked as the play-by-play radio announcer for the Toronto Blue Jays of Major League Baseball (MLB).

Wagner is the co-anchor of WISN 12 News This Morning alongside Melinda Davenport. He joined the WISN 12 News team in January 2016. – he worked at WISN’s sister station 40/29 News as the morning anchor. In the Natural State, Ben worked on hard-hitting investigative stories uncovering government waste in local politics. He also spent weeks in Moore, Okla. and central Arkansas, two of the worst tornado disaster areas in the last decade.

Ben worked as a reporter/anchor at KOMU-TV in Columbia, Missouri. Ben worked to cover the big stories affecting viewers in mid-Missouri. When a deadly EF-5 tornado touched down in Joplin, Ben was one of the first reporters on the scene. In 2011, Ben worked as a reporter at the Reuters TV bureau in Brussels, Belgium. Ben was working in Europe during the historic uprisings in Tunisia, Egypt, and Libya. He’s traveled to nine different countries in Europe and South America and hopes to keep adding to that list.

In 2004, Wagner began working as the play-by-play announcer and director of media and public relations for the Class-A Lakewood BlueClaws. In the offseason, he worked in the radio booth for the University of Maryland Eastern Shore, calling the Hawks basketball games. On March 19, 2007, Wagner was hired as the play-by-play radio announcer for the Triple-A Buffalo Bisons. He remained in that role with the Bison until March 27, 2018, when it was announced that he would replace Jerry Howarth as the lead radio play-by-play announcer for the Toronto Blue Jays.

A cashier pulled a gun on a customer earlier this month at a Family Dollar store in Brown Deer, police said. The customer, who didn’t want to be identified, said she was trying to exchange a bag of charcoal. She was arguing with the cashier behind the counter when she said the cashier pulled a gun out of her back pocket.
