Brandon Bartlett is an Award-winning American TV News Anchor. He joined the Eyewitness News team in October 2017. Bartlett began his career in journalism while still in high school. He served as the Youth Reporter for the cable news station, Century TV8 News in his hometown of Owensboro, KY. He later transferred from there and moved across the river working for WEVV-TV CBS 44 to work as the weekend anchor and reporter. Brandon has spent 10 years as a news anchor and reporter for 14 News, WFIE-TV in Evansville.

Growing up Brandon loved watching WEHT News 25 and has been a life-long fan of ABC News. He has met many of his idols at ABC through friends and contacts. He even sat in on several live broadcasts of World News Tonight with Canadian-American journalist Peter Jennings in New York City and have meetings with him in his office after those broadcasts to talk about the business. Barlett has also sat in on live broadcasts of PrimeTime Live with journalists Diane Sawyer and Sam Donaldson, as well as Good Morning America with Charlie Gibson and Joan Lunden, then Charlie Gibson, Diane Sawyer, and Robin Roberts.

Brandon was surprised one day by his friend when he set up a meeting for Brandon and his long-time idol Barbara Walters. This ultimately led to several other meetings with the broadcast legend. He sat in on several tapings of 20/20 with Hugh Downs and Walters. He was even invited to attend Walters’ private Christmas party in New York and got the chance to dance with her, met with her several times in her office, and was even featured during a live segment on The View with Walters.

During his early days in television news, Barlett made friends with journalists Anderson Cooper and Lisa Ling. They both gave him advice about the business. Through his journalism career, Brandon has landed the opportunity to interview several people notably President Barack Obama, President Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Joe and Nick Jonas, Sen. Wendell Ford, Sen. Bob Dole, Justin Timberlake and ‘NSYNC, Gene Hackman, Bill Cosby, Florence Henderson, Willie Nelson, Author Mary Higgins Clark, and several others.
