Later, Brandon moved to Scottsbluff, Nebraska and persevered through the below zero degree winter temperatures and learned about the agricultural way of life.

In September 2016, he joined KWTX which is located in Waco, Texas. He did news coverage of numerous topics like the Twin Peaks biker shooting, school education stories and also a fatal shooting of local police chief at a nightclub. Currently, he works for WTVF NewsChannel 5 as a news reporter.
