Lori Stokes and ex-husband remain, good friends,
Lori met Brian Thompson for the first time while giving a job interview at WNBC in 1996. Two years after their first meeting, they tied the knot.The couple called it quits a few years later and had an amicable divorce. Stokes confirmed their divorce with a post on her Twitter on Christmas Eve in 2014. She shared a photo of herself with her Thompson and in the caption, she referred to him as her “ex-husband.”
The reason for divorce is not known. Lori and Brian remain close friends. Thompson is also a reporter currently working with NBC 4 New York. He has been associated with the network since 1998.
