Most recently she used social media components, and the FOX Sports San Diego digital platform, to create unique content for followers; and in doing so, contributed to a 1,356% increase in video views on Facebook. Right out of college in June 2008, Brie got her first job as an associate producer at KSWB-TV, a Fox-owned channel, in San Diego, California. She stayed there for 2 years until July 2010.
From July 2010 – March 2012, she stayed Eugene, Oregon to work as a news anchor and reporter for KCBY-TV, a CBS Corporation-owned channel.

Brie’s third job was still with CBS Corporation but this time it was in Los Angeles, California as a television host for the Emmy-Award winning series “Undercover Boss”. She worked here from May 2012 to May 2013. From June 2013 to April 2015, Brie worked as a FOX Sports girl for FOX Sports in San Diego, California. Thiele then switched jobs yet again, working as a news anchor for One America News Network for two years, from April 2013 to May 2015, in San Diego.

Now, since June 2015, Brie works as a journalist for FOX Sports, also in San Diego, California. This position was created specifically for her and allowed her to create content for FOX’s social media platforms. At FOX Sports, she created and hosted several segments, including A Date To Remember, where she quizzed athletes on their most prized plays. Other segments she worked on included From the Stands, Around Town, Quick Hit and Everyday Heroes.

Brie Thiele joins Good Morning Nashville as a traffic reporter, giving drivers in Middle Tennessee the information they need to navigate rush hour safely and on time. Brie is incredibly excited to be living and working in Nashville! She comes with 10 years of experience and has found her passion for the art of storytelling.

Most recently, Brie interviewed some of the world’s best athletes during a three-year stint at FOX Sports. The highlight of her career was the 2016 MLB All-Star game where she interviewed David Ortiz, Mike Trout, and Bryce Harper, among others. An avid football fan, she also worked with players on the Los Angeles Chargers.

Prior to that, Brie worked as a political network, and as a host of the Emmy-Award winning series, Undercover Boss. Early in her career, she moved to a small town on the Southern Oregon Coast and was a jack-of-all-trades. She learned to shoot video, edit content, rush to breaking news stories, and anchor the evening news, all in a day’s work! Brie hails from sunny San Diego but is absolutely loving her new home.

Brie began her career as an Associate Producer at KSWB-TV, a FOX-affiliated network in the San Diego area where she wrote scripts for anchors, produced on the street interviews, and pitched stories at editorial meetings. In 2010, she moved to the Eugene, Oregon area where she was a news anchor/reporter for the CBS-affiliated network, KCBY-TV. There, she was a team player producing newscasts and anchoring live cut-ins, and shot video on Panasonic P2HD cameras. Brie became skilled in software programs such as Sienna Story cut, Final Cut Pro, Edius, ENPS, Bitcentral, Precis, Excel, Word, Photoshop & Adobe.

Brie attended Carlsbad High School, a public high school in Carlsbad, California. She went on to complete her high school education in 2004. After high school, she furthered her studies by pursuing tertiary education at California State University-Long Beach in 2004. While at college, she earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts by majoring in Journalism with a minor in Political Science. She was also a part of Alpha Phi, a national PanHellenic sorority. Thiele graduated with the class of 2008.
