Caitlin Connell is an American journalist working as a meteorologist for KMTV 3 News. In her extra energy, she appreciates re-watching The Office, climbing, setting up camp, voyaging, watching university hockey (while supporting her UND Men’s Hockey Team), and visiting her “North Dakota Family” in Grand Forks. She swears that whenever she hears “Omaha,” it’s in Peyton Manning’s voice.

Caitlin is eager to join the KMTV Team and join the morning show as the new meteorologist/traffic correspondent. She as of late moved from North Dakota where she worked at WDAY in Fargo, ND as an end-of-the-week meteorologist.
Prior to moving to Omaha, Caitlin lived in North Dakota for around three years and Southern California before that. She moved to North Dakota to seek after degrees in Atmospheric Sciences and Communication with a numerical minor from the University of North Dakota. In May 2021, she moved on from UND with distinction.
Since the time she moved to the Great Plains, she has adored it. “I love to encounter seasons! From outrageous winters to serious rainstorms,” she says.
The most sultry temperature she has been in was around 120°F in Southern California. What’s more the coldest she has been in was around – 55°F in North Dakota. Talk regarding a few outrageous seasons!
