Cherry Adair Biography
Cherry Adair is a South African born American award-winning and bestselling romantic fiction author. Throughout the years, Cherry has received several awards for her work. She has a career in writing that spans for over 25 years, through which she has written novels, short stories, among others.
Since childhood, she was always a voracious reader. With time, her ideas flourished and she started writing. Before she wrote her first novel, The Mercenary, she had already written 17 complete books.

She was born on the 2nd of April 1951 in Cape Town, the oldest city in South Africa. As of 2019, she is 68 years old. She moved from her hometown in Cape Town to San Francisco in her early 20s. In San Francisco, she started a career as an interior designer. With time, she even went as far as opening her own interior design business.

She met David sometime after she moved to San Francisco from South Africa. The couple soon got married. Of late, they have 2 children, all daughters. Not much else is known of her personal life. We do, however, know that they live with their children and two schnauzers named Max and Chase. The two are regular contestants for the national agility trials.
Cherry Adair Career
Her first novel was titled “The Mercenary” and it was sold to Harlequin to be added to the Temptation line in 1994. Six years later, she published “Kiss and Tell”, the second in her T-FLAC series. The series involves Terrorist Force Logistical Assault Command (T-FLAC), a fictional secret counter-terrorist force. In 2007, she added onto the force’s power by adding wizard powers to the T-FLAC operatives. This enhanced the characters’ move into the subgenre of “paranormal romance” with her award-winning Edge trilogy.
As Cherry Adair continued writing, she has received huge recognition. For instance, the Romantic Times has recognized her as ‘one of the reigning queens of romantic adventure’. In addition, she is considered a master at placing thriller action scenes and desire in her writing. Through the years, she has garnered a huge following as well as great recognition as an established author.
