Chris Christie is an American politician, former federal prosecutor, and political commentator who served as the 55th Governor of New Jersey from 2010 to 2018. During his governorship, he chaired the Opioid and Drug Abuse Commission in 2017. Christie became an ABC News contributor in 2018 after leaving office.

Chris had struggled with his weight and decided to lose weight to undergo lap-band weight loss surgery to lose weight in 2013. After the surgery, he dropped his weight by 85 pounds. After he successfully lost his weight he said in an interview;
“It’s the best thing that I’ve ever done for my health. And I look back on it now and wish I’d done it years ago.”
Even after losing weight, he went through the embarrassing moment during WFAN trial in July 2017. An infamous caller called Mike called him as fat a**. During the heated conversation, Mike showed his rage against the former governor and said,

Christie joined a Cranford, New Jersey, law firm in 1987, rose to become a partner in 1993, and continued practicing until 2002.He was elected county legislator in Morris County, serving from 1995-1998, during which time he generally pushed for lower taxes and lower spending. By 2002, Christie had campaigned for Presidents George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush. Bush appointed him as United States Attorney for New Jersey, a position he held from 2002 to 2008. In that position, he fought political corruption and also obtained convictions for sexual slavery, arms trafficking, racketeering by gangs, and other federal crimes.
