Connie LeGrand is an American television journalist who has served in broadcasting in South Carolina and was a host of Speed News (now The Speed Report) from 2004 to 2006.

She served as co-host of Speed News (now The Speed Report), a motorsports news program (30 minutes during motorsports season on Saturdays and 60 minutes on Sundays) produced by Speed Channel, with Drew Johnson.

She was on the show from 2004 to June 25, 2006. During the first part of the 2004 NASCAR Cup Series season, LeGrand also anchored the Speed TV series NASCAR Nation.

LeGrand worked as a radio announcer for Athens radio station 960 AM WRFC and sister station Bulldog 103.7 under the pseudonym Connie Laurens. She co-hosted Speed News (now The Speed Report), a racing news program generated by Speed Channel with Drew Johnson (30 minutes during the motorsports season on Saturdays and 60 minutes on Sundays). From 2004 to June 25, 2006, she was on the panel. LeGrand also anchored the NASCAR Nation Speed TV series during the first portion of the 2004 season of the NASCAR Cup Series.

LeGrand served as a correspondent for WSPA-TV in Spartanburg, South Carolina, the CBS affiliate covering Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina (Greenville, South Carolina, Anderson, South Carolina, Spartanburg, South Carolina, and Asheville, North Carolina) before joining Speed Channel.

WSPA-TV helped WHNS-TV develop television news during the 1990s. When the Fox affiliate lastly had its own manufacturing employees, LeGrand was the only correspondent of WSPA-TV to stay with WHNS-TV. For her efforts, LeGrand was promoted to the main female news anchor position in 1997, a position she would hold until her move to Speed Channel in 2004.

In the academic year 2006/2007, LeGrand was an instructor at the University of South Carolina Upstate in Spartanburg in Mass Communication at the Department of Fine Arts and Communication Studies. She returned to WSPA-TV in January 2007 as a weekly anchor at 5:30 and also covered the affiliate’s education and health problems. LeGrand became Marketing and Public Manager in December 2010.
