Hardrict began acting in the late 1990s appearing in weekly prime-time programs like Smart Guy, Felicity, Once and Again and ER. In 1999, he had his film debut in the romantic comedy Never Been Kissed, that starred Drew Barrymore. He also had a role in the 2011 drama Crazy/Beautiful. He has also appeared in Creature Unknown (2004), Miles from Home (2006), and Driftwood (2006).
He starred in the film Hollywood Horror alongside his wife Tia and his sister-in-law Tamera Mowry. In the same year, he was cast in the romantic comedy He’s Just Not That into You, and the drama Dough Boys.
He once again made an appearance in acting with his wife when he had a guest appearance on the CW show The Game as the cable guy in the “Hill Street Blues” episode. In the pilot episode of the CBS sitcom Accidentally on Purpose, Hardrict as Ryan. He was however replaced by Pooch Hall (his wife’s co-star from The Game).
In 2007, he executive produced the film Neighborhood Watch, in which he also starred. In 2008, he secured a supporting role in Gran Torino, a film that was directed by and starred Clint Eastwood. Again in 2015, he appeared in a blockbuster film directed by Eastwood, American Sniper, opposite Bradley Cooper.
