Prior to serving at WMAQ, he has served at WROC-TV which is based in Rochester, New York as a news anchor and an investigative reporter. From 1990 to 1992, the reporter was the Raleigh bureau chief at WNCT-TV in Greenville, North Carolina.
Furthermore, Dave has previously worked at WMAQ-TV in Chicago as an investigative reporter form the year 1993 to 2004. He covered a story called “Selling Innocence” which led to the arrest and conviction of a child sex-offender who was running a child modeling website. Furthermore, he was featured on The Oprah Winfrey Show after he showed how the website was merely a front for a child porn operation. The story series won a national Clarion award as well as an Alfred I. duPont Award Finalist.
Currently, he works at CBS 2 WBBM-TV which is a CBS owned-and-operated television station licensed to Chicago, Illinois as an Investigative Reporter. To add to his broadcasting duties, Dave has also written for several area newspapers including the Naperville Sun and the Aurora Beacon-News.
