Diana Magnay is an American news correspondent, reporter, journalist and producer who works for Sky News. She is smart and outspoken. She is not afraid to share her honest opinions on a variety of political and social issues. This boldness affected her career in the past.
Diana Magnay Born
Magnay is originally from England and speaks three different languages. Magnay graduated from Oxford University in 1999 with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Modern History. During her time at Oxford, she received an Arnold Modern History Prize after writing the best thesis in her class. She was also a member of the school’s Drama society.
Diana later joined King’s College in London in 2016 where she pursued a masters of Arts Degree in International Peace and Security. She received a Director’s Award for her good grades.

Magnay was an international correspondent for CNN based in Berlin. Diana was leading in the CNN’s breaking news coverage on a range of stories from the political crisis in Ukraine and Russia’s annexation of Crimes to the release of Khodorkovsky and Pussy Riot in Russia. She also covered the massacre in Utoya, Norway and austerity-related protests in Greece.
After Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina of Pussy Riot hours, were released from jail, Magnay had a prime opportunity to secure one of the first television interviews with them. She also secured an exclusive interview with Crimean leader Sergei Axyonov shortly before the March 16th referendum.
She has travelled from Seoul and Tokyo to Egypt, Iraq, South Africa, Russia and to most countries within Europe in her reporting career.
Magnay worked as a television journalist for fifteen years starting off with CNN in London as a production assistant in January 2001. All CNN’s leading international news and business programmes during major news events such as the Iraq War, the Tsunami and the London bombings in July 2005 were produced by Diana. While working as a field producer, she has covered major news stories including the war in Georgia in August 2008 and G8 Heiligendamm.

Magnay tweeted that Israelis who were cheering the bombing of Gaza, and who had allegedly threatened her, were “scum” while a correspondent for CNN on the Israeli – Palestinian conflict.
This led to her removal from Israel and posting to Moscow Russia.
