Dr. Simone Whitmore is an obstetrician-gynecologist in Duluth, Georgia and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Northside Hospital and Northside Hospital-Forsyth. She is a cast member on the Bravo reality show Married to Medicine. She was born and raised in Nashville, TN.
She graduated from Spelman College with a degree in biology/pre-medicine where she met her husband, Cecil Whitmore. She also earned her doctorate from East Tennessee State University. Simone completed her residency at Boston Medical Center and became a Board Certified OBGYN in 1999. Dr. Simone is a sought-after speaker on women’s health issues and has owned North Perimeter OBGYN since 2004 and is a solo practitioner. Simone is a member of the American College of OBGYN and the American Board of OBGYN. Most recently, Simone and Cecil have partnered in a new application start-up company, KIDZ FORCE. The application will allow kids to earn money while doing chores and become young entrepreneurs. When her packed schedule allows, Simone loves to shop, socialize and travel with Cecil and their two sons, Miles, 19 and Michael, 15.
