On 8th September 2017 Bolling’s son, Eric Chase Bolling who was 19 years , died of mixed drug intoxication. At the time of his death he was studying economics at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Bolling took to twitter to inform the public of the death of his only son.Adrienne and I are devastated by the loss of our beloved son Eric Chase last night. Details still unclear. Thoughts, prayers appreciated.The Blast obtained police documents Eric’s death was ruled as an accidental “mixed drug intoxication” after authorities discovered cocaine, marijuana, Xanax,and opioid drugs in his system.
Eric had met up with a male acquaintance on Sept. 6 and Sept. 7 to buy drugs in Denver according to a supplemental case report filed by an officer of the Boulder Police Department.
The acquaintance told the police that on 6th September Eric purchased five pills of Percocet for $35 each and swallowed half a pill. The acquaintance and Eric partied that night and he revealed that Eric smoked Percocet twice by crushing up the pill and heating it up in tinfoil.
On 7th September Eric and the acquaintance again drove to Denver to buy drugs where Eric purchased five more pills of Percocet for $35 each.
A female acquaintance then visited Eric who told the police that Eric snorted cocaine before he went to bed. She said she left Erick’s at around 7:30 a.m. to go to class and Eric was asleep at the time but it wasn’t unusual as Eric was always a “very deep sleeper”. She didn’t hear from Eric the whole day which made her concerned and when she went to check opn him that evening she found his body which prompted her to call 911.

Eric Bolling was a commodities trade on the New York Mercantile Exchange. He specialized in trading natural gas, crude oil, gold, and other commodities.
After serving five years on the board of directors at the NYMEX (now CME Group), Bolling became a strategic adviser to the exchange’s board of directors. He was included in Trader Monthly’s Top 100 in 2005 and 2006. Bolling was the recipient of the Maybach Man of the Year Award at the Trader Monthly Awards, January 17, 2007.
Eric Bolling was involved in developing CNBC’s Fast Money. Bolling left CNBC in August 2007 and moved to the new Fox Business Network as one of the network’s financial analysts. He hosted the business show Happy Hour, which ran opposite Fast Money in the 5 p.m. time slot.

He criticized the then President Barack Obama in June 2011, on the show, on his decision to met Ali Bongo Ondimba, Gabon’s president, in the White House. He said “Guess who’s coming to dinner? A dictator.” He also went on to criticize Obama for allowing rapper Common to appear in the White House a few weeks before, exclaiming “it’s not the first time he’s had a hoodlum in the hizzouse.”
Media Matters, a progressive group, criticized him for his remarks saying “Calling the president of Gabon and Common ‘hoods in the hizzy’ is not colorful commentary, it is overt racism.”
Bolling took to Twitter to defend himself claiming that he was being criticized because he worked for Fox News. He later apologized on air saying, “On Friday, we did a story about the president meeting with the president of Gabon. We got a little fast and loose with the language, and we know it’s been interpreted as being disrespectful, and for that, I’m sorry.”

Eric Bolling served as a co-host of ‘The Five’ on Fox News Channel alongside Bob Beckel. They shared a round table discussion of the top political and cultural stories of the day. They were known to take strong opposing positions on issues which lead to heated exchanges.
In September 2014 he caused controversy while talking about the first woman fighter pilot from UAE leading the bombing of the Islamic state, when he asked if it would be appropriate to say ‘b**bs on the ground’ instead of ‘boots on the ground’. He apologized the following day citing a look his wife gave him after he arrived home.

On 19th April 2017 Fox announced new program lineup due to Bill O’Reilly’s exit, ‘The Five’ moved to 9 p.m. time slot and ‘Fox News Specialists’ was created to to replace The Five in the 5 p.m. time slot. The show premiered on 1st May 2017 with Eric Bolling as a co-host alongside Katherine Timpf and Eboni Williams.
On 5th August 2017 Eric was suspended from Fox News channel following his sexual harassment allegations. In September 2017 the network cut loose ties with Eric and cancelled his daily program “Fox News Specialists.”
In a statement a Fox News spokesperson said, “Fox News Channel is canceling the ‘Specialists,’ and Eric Bolling and Fox have agreed to part ways amicably. We thank Eric for his 10 years of service to our loyal viewers and wish him the best of luck.”

Eric Bolling Sexual Allegation
On 4th August 2017 HuffPost reported that Eric Bolling was sending lewd photos to former and current female colleagues at the Fox network. He was also accessed of making “wildly inappropriate” comments to female employees.
Eric’s lawyer, Michael J. Bowe, responded saying that “no such unsolicited communications occurred” and that Bolling “will vigorously pursue his legal remedies” in response to the accusations.
Eric filed a $50 million defamation lawsuit in New York on 9th August 2017 against Yashar Ali, the freelancer writer who broke the story. Ali reacting to the case said he would protect his source and that he stands by the accuracy of his story.
