Despite online advertising by Dandy Dan’s Gentleman’s Club suggesting otherwise, internationally known model and fitness guru Paige Hathaway has never stripped at the business.Hathaway brought a lawsuit in U.S. District Court in Denver against Million Dollar Corporation, which owns Dandy Dan’s Gentleman’s Club, 214 S. Federal Blvd.
It’s the third lawsuit filed by Englewood attorney Steven Greenlee against Denver area strip clubs that allegedly imply famous actresses, models and cheerleaders are tied to the clubs. Hathaway is seeking unspecified monetary damages, punitive triple damages, and attorneys fees and costs.
Earlier this month, Greenlee filed lawsuits in Denver federal court on behalf of actress Carmen Electra and Miami Dolphins cheerleader Jaime Longoria filed separate lawsuits against two different Denver area strip clubs in federal court claiming the skin businesses falsely used their photographs to promote their clubs.
Hathaway’s lawsuit says Dandy Dan’s posted an image of her on its Instagram account that said, “Celebrate that win with a night out at #dandydans!” the lawsuit says.“The use of plaintiff’s image … created a false impression that plaintiff worked at, would appear at, endorsed, sponsored, or was affiliated with Dandy Dan’s,” the lawsuit says.
It added that Hathaway is not affiliated with Dandy Dan’s in any way and the strip club does not have her permission to use her image.
