Jasmine Huda

Jasmine Huda takes her love of news and the St. Louis community to Fox 2 News at 11 p.m., which she co-anchors with Shirley Washington. Jasmine joined The Fox 2 / News 11 team in January 2016.

Jasmine’s experience in news began in Ann Arbor, Michigan, where she attended the University of Michigan and reported for NPR member station WUOM. She subsequently landed behind-the-scenes positions with National Public Radio and Fox News Channel in Washington, DC.

A St. Louis native, Jasmine was thrilled to move back to Missouri for her first on-air reporting position at KSPR-TV in Springfield, MO. She later moved to her hometown, first working at KSDK-TV, and later KMOV-TV as an evening anchor and reporter. She is the recipient of a national Edward R. Murrow award, a regional Edward R. Murrow award, and a regional Mid-America Emmy.

Jasmine has been honored in several publications for her talent and contributions to St. Louis. She was named “Best Newscaster” by St. Louis Magazine, “Best Female On Air Personality” by Alive Magazine, and has also been profiled in The New York Times, The 9s Men’s Magazine, Forbes.com, and “Who’s Who In Diversity in St. Louis.”

Jasmine is active in a number of local causes, primarily the American Heart Association. She is a member of the Go Red For Women Executive Leadership Team and emcees the annual Go Red For Women Luncheon and Metro St. Louis Heart Walk. She is also involved with Guns ‘N Hoses, The National Council of Jewish Women’s ‘Back 2 School Store’, The Veiled Prophet Fashion Show, and The Crisis Nursery.

In her spare time, Jasmine enjoys yoga, “Wait, Wait Don’t Tell Me” and her new home, which she says desperately needs a puppy.
