Jason Chaffetz Biography

Jason Chaffetz born Jason E. Chaffetz is an American retired politician who served as the U.S. Representative for Utah’s 3rd congressional district from 2009 until his retirement in 2017. He chaired the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform from 2015 until 2017.

Chaffetz was conceived in Los Gatos, California, and brought up in California, Arizona and Colorado with his more youthful sibling Alex. His dad, John A. Chaffetz (1935–2012), was a specialist, and his mom, Margaret “Peggy” A. Wood, was a Christian Scientist who later turned into an individual from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and maintained a photography business. In the late 1970s, his dad wound up included with the proprietorship gathering of the Los Angeles Aztecs, an expert soccer crew. As revealed in 2009, Chaffetz stays near his relative and the Dukakis family.

Chaffetz went to secondary school in California just as Middle Park High School in Granby, Colorado, trailed by Brigham Young University on an athletic grant, and was the beginning placekicker on the Brigham Young University football crew in 1988 and 1989.
