Jim Breuer born James E. Breuer  is an American actor, author, stand-up comedian, musician as well as a radio host. He is most renown for being a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 1998 most notably playing the role of ‘Goat Boy’. Additionally, he starred in the film Half Baked. Breuer hosted ‘The Jim Breuer Show’ on MTV. The comedian has also published his book ‘I’m Not High (But I’ve Got a Lot of Crazy Stories about Life as a Goat Boy, a Dad, and a Spiritual Warrior)’ in October 5, 2010.

Their appearance on Home improvement set the stage for the short-lived sitcom Buddies. The characters’ single outing on the episode proved so popular that ABC decided to give Chappelle and Breuer their own half-hour sitcom.He was originally scheduled to have been the co-star alongside friend and co-worker Dave Chappelle, but was pulled from the role after filming the pilot.

Breuer was a sit-in comedian on the Opie and Anthony Show that was hosted by Gregg, Cumia and later hosted by comedian Jim Norton.Breuer had a section called “Breuer Bits” which oftenly aired whenever the show was on hiatus. With the XM/Sirius merger complete, Breuer returned to the Opie and Anthony Show for the first time in six years on August 8, 2008. He remained a frequent guest.

The comedian also runs a radio show called Fridays with Jim Breuer, (previously known as Breuer Unleashed) which can be heard each Friday afternoon from 4-6PM (EST) on the Sirius Satellite Radio channel “Raw Dog Comedy.” He credits Joe Pesci with jump starting his career as he mentions in his comedy concert “Hardcore”. In one of the episodes, while the comedian was singing the Judas Priestsong “Devil’s Child,” Rob Halford, lead singer of Judas Priest, joined him in the studio to sing the song.


In January 2011, he launched a podcast called “The Podcast Masters” with fellow comedian Pete Correale. The hosts talk about the everyday things that make life interesting.The podcast can be stremed on his website.

The comedian starred in the VH1 documentary titled ‘When Metallica Ruled the World’ In the documentary, Jim comments on the songs by Metallica through the years and the impact the band has had to the music industry over the years.In December 2011, Breuer presented at Metallica’s 30th Anniversary shows. He is the opening act for the band’s 2018 tour. In April 2019, he has been featured on a tour titled’ Jim Breuer Life on Tour with Metallica.’
