Katherine Von Drachenberg (born on March 8, 1982), is one of the best female American tattoo artists and, a model, musician, author, entrepreneur, and television personality.
Better known as Kat Von D, based on her best work as a tattoo artist on the TLC reality television. Von D is also famous for her cosmetic line that launched in 2008.

Her Argentinean parents, Rana Dranchenberg and Sylvia Galeano are both of different descent. The father of German descent while the mother of Italian-Spanish ancestry. Von D shares a close bond with her siblings – brother Michael Von Dranchenberg and sister Karoline Von Dranchenberg.
They migrate to Los Angeles, when at the age of 4 years and settled down in Colton, California. And California, her parents exposed her to piano classes at the age of 6 years old, developing a liking for Ludwig van Beethoven’s masterpieces.
She then developed an artistic interest due to her grandmother’s love for the prevailing music culture in Los Angeles. It helped her reflect on her tattoo arts and styles. She decides to quit drinking after her consumption of alcohol started threatening her work.

Her makeup line became a root of the controversy after realizing a lipstick called “Selektion“, was contemplated inappropriate in its native Germany where this is the term used by the Nazis to decide who would be chosen to either be put to work or death upon arrival to the concentration camps. This led to the lipstick being renamed to “Beloved”.
Von D’s Noble, (from liquid lipstick)was launched, debuting the eye-catching matte lipstick.
On September 2, 2010, Von D opens the art gallery and boutique, Wonderland Gallery, in the space next door to High Voltage Tattoo. She then launches the cloth lines KVD Los Angeles and Kat Von D Los Angeles in the US and Canada in fall 2011.

Von D appeared two seasons of Miami Ink, the reality Tv show taped at 305 Ink in Miami for the cable network TLC. She was offered the position of Darren Brass after he broke his elbow, preventing her from tattooing.
She eventually acquired her own TLC series, LA Ink, which chronicled her work at her tattoo shop, High Voltage Tattoo, in Hollywood California.
Von D broke the Gunness World Record of most tattoos given by a single person in 24 hours, with a total of 400.

Von D steers clear of a standard white dress, and instead choosing to walk down the aisle in a red, long-sleeve, ruffled gown by Adolfo Sanchez. She topped off her ensemble with a matching lace veil and red horns in her hair and The groom outfit to a matching jacket and pant combo with silver ornamentation.
