Katie was a sports intern for KABC in Los Angeles, California she did this from May 2007 to October 2007 and also in KING in Seattle, Washington.
She began anchoring in Grand Grove, California working as a sports reporter and anchor for local news station for 3 months in 2008. She later moved to Roseburg, Oregon in 2009 and joined KPIC as a multimedia, journalist, reporter and news anchor.
Katie began her career as a meteorologist in Eugene, Oregon in April 2010. She worked for KVAL as a reporter and anchor for the weekend weather report. She starred a segment called Extreme Katie which she tried out many daring feats which included shark diving feats and lawn mower racing.
April 2012 she became a reporter and a morning meteorologist for KSKN/KREM. She left the station in early 2016 and later joined KLASin Las Vegas, where she worked as a reporter and weekend meteorologist. She currently works for Q 13 FOX network in Seattle, Washington.
