Kaye Abad Interview

TWBA UNCUT: Kaye Abad’s full interview with Boy Abunda

Kapamilya actress Kaye Abad is already in her late thirties but still looks every inch youthful; one of those ‘blessed’ women in showbiz who doesn’t seem to age. Her freshness coupled with natural Filipino beauty makes Kaye remain irresistible.

In her guesting in Tonight with Boy Abunda, the King of Talk asks her reaction about her sexiness. But the humble actress is quite surprised and shrugs off the compliments; and admits that she doesn’t see herself the way others see her. Even while staring at herself in front of the mirror, Kaye examines her face and doubts the beauty she possesses; adding that she feels like lacking sex appeal.

Nonetheless, Kaye reveals sticking to a constant skincare routine to maintain her glow. But her beauty regimen is not as complicated as that of other girls’ as it only includes basic products like moisturizer.

Kaye tied the knots with actor and businessman Paul Jake Castillo in 2016. Their wedding, attended only by their closest friends and family, was marked by quiet tears amidst genuine smiles. A year after, the couple welcomed their first child, Pio Joaquin.

She relocated to Cebu, Paul Jake’s hometown, to build a family of her own alongside her loving husband. Living at the Queen City of the South requires Kaye to learn the local Bisaya dialect. She may not yet be perfectly fluent in speaking in Bisaya but she has developed a good comprehension of most Bisaya words.

She gives utmost priority to Pio and her motherhood journey but she makes sure not to neglect her wife duties to Paul Jake as well. She believes that raising a happy family takes a good and proper balance of time.

She takes her real-life motherhood experience into the small screen as she plays the role of Ella Dimaano Salvador in the Kapamilya morning series Nang Ngumiti ang Langit.

The teleserye has been a trending topic in social media since its first airing on Monday (March 25). Kaye invites the viewers to keep on supporting the series that aims to give valuable lessons about life.]

Kaye’s youth-oriented show, Tabing Ilong which aired more than two decades ago, will also make a comeback on IwanTV starting in April.
