She is a native of Southern California. She attended Cal State University Northbridge and graduated with a B.A in Broadcast Journalism and a minor in Geography.

Keisha started her telecom profession in Cheyenne, Wyoming where she filled in as an end of the week anchor and dayside columnist for KGWN-TV.

From that point onward, she filled in as an anchor and correspondent and climate forecaster at KTVZ-TV in Bend, Oregon where she secured anything from serious climate to wrongdoing and governmental issues.
