Kevin Doom is an American journalist working as a meteorologist for FOX 39 News/WTVO News. He was born and raised in Joliet, Illinois. He joined WTVO in May 2019.
He attended Northern Illinois University and graduated with a degree in Meteorology. He then got a B.S in Meteorology, a B.S in Geography, and a minor in Applied Mathematics from NIU in May 2019.
He enjoys playing baseball and hockey. He is a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, and St. Louis Blues. He is an Eagle Scout since he loves the outdoors.

Kevin’s enthusiasm for climate came to him before he can even recollect. Kevin came to adore every climate wonder that the Midwest brings to the table.
From putting on mock climate shows for his family to battling with his kin about whether to watch kid’s shows or the Weather Channel, Kevin would never appear to get enough of the climate.
While in school, Kevin directed honor winning exploration ventures, interned with the National Weather Service and at WGN-TV, and won NIU’s 2019 Weathercaster of the Year Award.
