Lucas Black is an American film and television actor. He is famously known for his roles in the series American Gothic from 1995 to 1996 as well as roles in the films Sling Blade in 1996, Flash in 1997, Crazy in Alabama in 1999, All the Pretty Horses 2000, Friday Night Lights in 2004, Jarhead in 2005, The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift in 2006, Get Low in 2009, Legion in 2010, and Seven Days in Utopia in 2011. Since September 2014, he has played Special Agent Christopher LaSalle on CBS’ NCIS: New Orleans.

After high school, his first career choice wasn’t even to become an actor. His first dream was to become a fisherman. He says that if he could have any other career besides acting, he would be a fisherman.
After high school, he started playing golf. He has excelled greatly in the sport and he competes in golf tournaments all around the country. He admits that he has a secret dream of playing golf at the professional level. He has shown off some of his golf skills in his films too. He loves golf so much that one day he thought it would be a good idea to play a game in his house.

Lucas received his first movie role in 1994 in the Kevin Costner film The War, when he was just 11 years old. The role helped him land his next job in the series American Gothic in 1995. He was also cast in the sleeper hit Sling Blade in 1996 and in Ghosts of Mississippi in 1996.
A bit of Calvin Klein modeling and mainly school and sports occupied the rest of his spare time. He cast in another summer hit with The X Files in 1998. He finally got a lead role in the independent film Crazy in Alabama in 1999. Lucas turned down an opportunity to star in the movie adaptation of The Horse Whisperer in 1998 due to the request of having his accent altered. In 2000, he was seen with Matt Damon in All the Pretty Horses in 2000. After a small break, he was next seen alongside Hollywood stars Jude Law and Natalie Portman in the drama Cold Mountain in 2003.

In the Black Friday Night Light, he was cast as Mike Winchell. Black Friday Night Light is Based on H.G. Bissinger’s book, which profiled the economically depressed town of Odessa, Texas and their heroic high school football team, The Permian High Panthers. it was directed by  Peter Berg and written by Buzz Bissinger.

Lucas Black Fast And Furious

Lucas played Sean Boswell in Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, where he won an award. He returned to the franchise to play Sean Boswell again in Furious 7 and Fast 8.   On April 16, 2016, it was announced that Lucas would reprise his role as Sean Boswell, but in a much bigger role this time.
Sadly, Paul Walker passed away after a serious car accident while he was filming Fast 8. With Paul Walker gone, it leaves an empty place on Dominic Toretto’s team and he will be short one best friend. It has been reported that Lucas will star as Dominic’s new best friend.
