Born and raised in Sandusky, Ohio, “America’s Rockin’ Roller Coast,” Marina is no stranger to snow and below freezing temperatures. It’s safe to say she’s thrilled to join the WACH FOX and enjoy much warmer weather!
Before moving south, Marina began her career in Lima, Ohio where she worked as a reporter and meteorologist, eventually becoming the full time evening meteorologist.
Marina graduated early from Ohio University in the fall of 2017. While in school, she was fortunate enough to intern for both ABC6 and 10TV in Columbus, Ohio, as well as accept the opportunity to study abroad. While abroad, she and a small crew of fellow students traveled to Buenos Aires, Argentina where they covered both politics and sports in the capital city.
Marina says she was lucky enough to know exactly what she wanted to do at a young age. While other kids wanted to be astronauts and ballerinas, Marina would proudly announce to the class that she wanted to be a “news lady.”
When not on set and forecasting for Good Day Columbia, Marina enjoys spending time with her rescue pup, a Shih Tzu named Vinny. She also considers herself a major “foodie” and is always looking for a new restaurant or book recommendation!
