Extreme Team reveals 2019 Diamonds & Dreams project
DEER PARK, Wash. – Mark Peterson and the Extreme Team have done it again.
The Diamonds & Dreams program has been going strong for seven years now and this year’s project saw the refurbishment of the Deer Park Sports Complex.
The Extreme Team would like to thank our Hometown Chevy Dealers and the many volunteers that helped out over the course of four days.

Mark Peterson (born 1955 in Minneapolis, Minnesota) is an American photographer based in New York City. Much of his work consists of political figures and people of wealth and notoriety. He frequently uses rich color and detail.
His work has been published in the New York Times Magazine, New York Magazine, Fortune Magazine, Time magazine, ESPN The Magazine, and Geo Magazine. He has photographed major political moments in history, such as the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Clinton, Dole, and George W. Bush campaigns.
Recently, he has worked with such publications as GQ and MSNBC to cover events via Instagram, including the 2012 Democratic Convention. He has photographed in the Arctic Circle and the world’s smallest nation, Tuvalu.

Mark Peterson Obituary
Mountain – Mark D. Peterson, 69, of Mountain and formerly of Denmark, beloved husband of the late Kay (Knuth) Peterson, departed this life on Monday, June 11, 2018, at his residence.
Mark was born August 26, 1948, in Green Bay, son of the late Melvin and Joyce (Lange) Peterson. A graduate of Denmark High School, and later enlisted in the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. While in the Army he was a Helicopter Door Gunner serving 33 months, 17 days.
His entire career he worked as a Truck Driver for numerous companies and later was a property maintenance manager for numerous apartment complexes. Mark had an extremely good relationship with his brothers and will be missed greatly.
He was willing to help anyone and was a very selfless person. He enjoyed ATVing up in the Mountain area and was a member of the Crooked Lake Sportsman Club. Mark also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his beloved dog Ernie.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Ben Kuehn) Lemmens, two brothers, Gary (Darlene Kassha) Peterson and Todd (Janice) Peterson, along with beloved grandchildren: Olivia Lemmens and Cameron (Mercedes Kudick) Lemmens. Mark also leaves numerous extended family and friends. He is preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Vicki Peterson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018, from 10 AM – 12 PM at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 435 Wisconsin Avenue, Denmark. A memorial service celebrating Mark’s life will follow at 12 PM in the church. Interment will be the West Danish Cemetery. Newcomer – Green Bay Chapel is assisting Mark’s family with arrangements.
