Mindy started off her reporting career at WTVR in Richmond, She also worked as a reporter in Altoona, Pa., and Harrisonburg, Va. Her first experience in news was behind the scenes as a producer at WTVR in Richmond. She moved to WTAE-TV then later in 1998 she joined WBAL-TV which is the sister station to WTAE-TV.
