Olly Murs’ protegee Molly Hocking was crowned the winner of The Voice UK 2019 on Saturday night.

And to celebrate the victory, the pop star – who has been a coach on the series for two consecutive years – stripped totally naked at the after party and posed in his judges chair, his buzzer covering his modesty.

Looking thrilled, Olly, 34, flexed his biceps in a victorious pose for the camera, captioning the snap: ‘The Winner takes it off #teamolly #afterparty.’
18-year-old Molly came out as champion against Bethzienna Williams, Deana Walmsley and Jimmy Balito after the public voted for the singer to win the show.

She bagged the coveted title Molly also performed her song of the series, I’ll Never Love Again from the hit movie A Star Is Born.

The winner, who is from St. Ives, Cornwall, was visibly tearful as she spoke to host Emma Willis after her win.

She said: ‘Someone pinch me. All I can say is thank you for voting for me. I am so so shocked. I love you all. after a solo performance of Someone You Loved before duetting with Olly on Simply Red’s Stars.

The Voice 2019 has its winner after Molly Hocking was crowned series champion in Saturday night’s closely-fought final. The 18-year-old fought off competition from fellow contestant Deana Walmsley to take the series title, after both had performed three songs each in their bid to take the title. In doing so, she also scored a triumph for Olly Murs, as he was crowned winning coach ahead of Sir Tom Jones – who was Deana’s coach. But just what was Molly’s prize? As in previous years, The Voice’s winner Molly has landed herself a contract with Polydor Records, which will release her debut single. The teenager’s debut release, I’ll Never Love Again, was released on Sunday.

She performed the ballad on Saturday night’s show as her final performance, after both she and Deana had made it to the last stage of the competition. There is no cash prize for winning the competition, although there used to be a £100,000 prize when the show aired on the BBC from 2012-2016. Who else was in the final of The Voice?

As well as Deana, Molly also fought off competition from finalists Jimmy Balito and Bethzienna Williams. She appeared speechless after her win, before saying: ‘All I can say is thank you and from the bottom of my heart I am so, so shocked. I just love you all.’ She also thanked Olly for his mentorship as she added: ‘I am so so glad that you stuck with me through this and you are my inspiration now. Youi are my inspiration.’ Molly Hocking’s I’ll Never Love Again will be available to download and stream now. The Voice UK will return in 2020.
