Nic Garcia joined the KFOX14 Morning News as the News Now Anchor in Sep. 2019.
He moved to El Paso from Missoula, Montana, where he was a reporter at our sister station, KECI.
Born and raised in Southern California, he’s excited to explore the Sun City.
Garcia has always had a passion for helping people. He says journalism is a way he can do that, providing a voice for those who do not have one.
He graduated from California State University, Fullerton where he got his degree in broadcast journalism and also studied political science.
While in college, Garcia interned at NBC Los Angeles. There he worked with the reporters who inspired him to pursue a career in journalism. Before that, he was the city council reporter for The Riverside County Record newspaper.
Garcia loves spending time with family and friends, going to concerts and trying new coffee shops (send him your suggestions!).
