She accused her former co-star Scott Baio of sexually abusing her as a minor, said she hid the alleged abuse for years to protect the legacy of the show. Eggert has accused Baio of molesting her and engaging in sex with her when she was a minor while the two were working on the 1980s sitcom. Baio has staunchly denied the claims that he inappropriately touched Eggert when she was a minor.
Nicole Eggert Fat | Nicole Eggert Weight Gain|Nicole Eggert Weight Loss
In 2010 Nicole gained some weight and she called herself fat. Due to that she was made into the “hilarious” punchline of the video on Funny or Die. She runs to save two men who are pretending to be drowning, only to be waved back to shore because she’s too fat and not “hot” enough to save them. She said that motherhood caused all that ‘motherhood has taken its toll on my tummy’.
Nicole is said to be “weight loss resistant” meaning it was extremely difficult for her to lose weight and really easy for her to gain it. Several factors that contributed were such as chronic stress issues from the death of her father, the birth of her second daughter and the life of being a single mom of two daughters. She overexercised and had very erratic eating habits, often not eating enough and usually skipping meals, especially breakfast.
Nicole started out by pulling out the 7 foods gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts, corn, eggs, sugar & artificial sweeteners. She replaced this with 2 meals a day with The Virgin Diet Shake, losing 9 pounds that week. She had to stop fromattending the long cardio sessions to focusing on high intensity interval training.
She attended to an integrative doctor to have her metabolism evaluated and get her hormones balanced. She used some supplements as well including Daily Packets, B-complex, digestive enzymes, and vitamin D-5000.

Nicole Eggert Corey Haim
In films such as “Blown Away” and “The Double 0 Kid,” Nicole Eggert played Corey Haim’s leading lady – a role she once held off-screen as well. With the news that Corey died early Wednesday morning, the actress sat down with Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos on Thursday to remember her late friend.
Though the two were close, Nicole told Maria it had been a “year or two” since she’d last seen him.
“The last time I spoke with Corey was, he wanted me to get involved with the show, ‘The Two Coreys,’” she said of Corey Haim and Corey Feldman’s former A&E reality show.
The former couple met when both were teenagers getting their start in Hollywood – and soon, they also found a romantic connection.
“The first time I met Corey, we were so young,” she said. “Maybe 14 years old. He had just moved to Los Angeles [and had] just finished filming ‘Lucas.’”
Before long, the two were engaged, a fact Nicole called “funny” to Maria.
“We were underage,” she said. “I was under 17. It’s funny to me now in hindsight because we wouldn’t have been allowed to be married… we loved each other dearly.”
While she did once wear his ring, Nicole said she gave it to Corey’s mom, Judy.
Though they grew apart, Nicole said they never stopped being friends.
“We were friends always,” she said. “I don’t think that the friendship stops.”
She explained that she didn’t see him doing drugs, but that she was there for the troubled star during trying times.
“I never watched what he did but there definitely [were] issues,” she said. “I held his hand when he wasn’t feeling well… I spent a lot of nights in emergency rooms with him. I don’t think that I saved his life, I just think that I was there for him.”
And though she didn’t get involved, Nicole said “medics on set” would assist Corey in acquiring “what [he needed]” during withdrawals.
“So they were in essence enabling him,” Maria said.
“Absolutely,” Nicole said.
“We all need to take responsibility for our own actions,” she continued. “But until you are in that place when you hear the horrible things said about you… and then all the negativity and all the rejection… it just creates this downward spiral for a lot of people…. It’s hard to pull out of that.”
Nicole also addressed Corey’s statements during “The Two Coreys” that he had been molested.
“I know who he is because I was there with them. I was friends with them at this time,” she said of Haim’s alleged abuser.
And she denied the rumor that it had been Michael Jackson. “He always had amazing things to say about Michael Jackson.”
Of the alleged molester, Nicole said, “I hope he’s having a horrible life.”
