Nicole Mitchell (full name: Nicole Lynn Mitchell)  He’s an American on-camera meteorologist. Mitchell is also a U.S. Major. Air Force Reserve, assigned as an aerial reconnaissance weather officer (Hurricane Hunter airborne meteorologist) to the 53d Weather Reconnaissance Squadron at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. From 2004 to 2011 she worked at the Weather Channel and from 2013 to 2016 with Al Jazeera America. She began working on KSTP-TV in Minneapolis-St. Paul’s in June 2017.

At first, Nicole Mitchell studied at a Minnesota local college called Woodbury High School, from which she graduated in 1992. She then acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication after graduating from the University of Minnesota. Nicole Mitchell also earned a law degree from the College of Law, a department of Georgia State University, in 2010.

Although she earned a communication degree, Nicole Mitchell has created an excellent career as a meteorologist. She chose to follow the meteorologist’s profession after entering the National Guard, where she was educated as both a weather observer and a weather forecaster.

Nicole Mitchell entered the National Guard unit, called the Hurricane Hunters Unit, after receiving a suitable training. In specific, the unit had to carry out a task in tropical climate circumstances that envisaged gathering information to forecast possible tropical and hurricane storms, and it was Nicole Mitchel’s first work experience in weather forecasting.

Nicole Mitchell’s National Guard has been a significant employer throughout her career. While working there, she could travel all over the globe, including nations like Bosnia, Kosovo, and Saudi Arabia. In addition, the meteorologist has been in a big amount of well-known hurricanes, including Charley, Katrina, Wile, and Irene.

However, her job at the National Guard and her voluntary involvement in many missions did not create barriers to her television career. She was employed by a local TV station in Duluth, where Nicole Mitchell worked on the roles of TV meteorologist, task manager, producer, and reporter. However, she left the station later to join the Rapid City South Bents, where she worked as a weather anchor.

Her recent work opened up bright opportunities for her, and in 2004 Nicole Mitchell was invited to join The Weather Channel, also known as simply TWC. Her performances on the channel attracted many spectators, and she rapidly gained popularity. She left the channel with a scandal in 2011, however, after creating an exceptional career there.

The reason for the leave was her request to cut her screen time, as Nicole Mitchell was busy studying in the National Guard. The channel refused to do so, however and shot her. The meteorologist then decided to go to a court, claiming that the channel had rejected her for no reason, but had not gained anything from it.

Nicole Mitchell has been working for Al Jazeera America since the summer of 2013, where he hosts morning and evening weather activities. She is also the chief meteorologist of the channel.

It was announced in July 2013 that Mitchell would be part of Al Jazeera America’s weather team. Mitchell supplied the morning weather sections from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. Eastern and during major weather occurrences. She was the channel’s chief meteorologist until it ceased operation on April 12, 2016.
