Rain Augustine began her News15 career in 2017 during her senior year at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
During her time in college, Rain was a University News reporter, a Communications Honor Society member, and was voted Most Empowering Student by her peers. Rain has since graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communications, Broadcast Journalism.
At News15 she has advanced by quickly learning almost facet of TV News production. She now contributes to News15 as an on-air multi-media journalist/reporter and weekend news producer.
Rain loves entertainment news, and is pursuing career in media because journalism encompasses two of her biggest passions: community service and story telling. She is a member of National Association of Black Journalists, Society of Professional Journalists, and is an Americorps, U.S. Civil Service Corporation, alumni.
