Rana Foroohar is an American business columnist and an associate editor at the Financial Times. Also, Rana is CNN’s global economic analyst. In the past, she was economics and foreign editor at Newsweek, where she had previously worked as a London-based correspondent covering Europe and the Middle East. 

Foroohar is a contributor to The Daily Beast and an occasional commentator on MSNBC’s Now with Alex Wagner and various CNN programs and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations
