Robert Suhr Biography

Robert Suhr is an American journalist working as a meteorologist/anchor for KHBS-KHOG News. He is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

He attended Point Park University in Pittsburgh. He graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism in 2007.

He then got his Broadcast Meteorology Certificate from Mississippi State University in 2017. If he’s not restoring old cars, Robert loves to play golf, softball and he’s also an avid Curler.

Suhr joined the 40/29 Get Ready Weather Team in November of 2020. Robert comes to 40/29 from Bismarck, North Dakota where he went through the most recent two years determining the climate for Central and Western North Dakota, including snowstorms, 60 under zero breeze chills, triple-digit heat, and extreme climate.

While in Bismarck, Robert was named for a 2020 Upper Midwest Emmy Award for best Meteorologist.

For almost 15 years, Robert worked at the radio broadcast, KDKA in Pittsburgh as a task editorial manager just as Sports Anchor at sister station Sports Radio 93.7.
