Ruben Solis is an American Broadcast Journalist, Filled-in Producer, and Reporter currently working as a reporter for WANE 15 since July 2018. While at Indiana University, as student station he worked as a producer, anchor, and reporter. Ruben spent three years in Indianapolis working for FOX59/CBS4 as an associate producer.

Before making his way to Fort Wayne, Ruben spent three years in Indianapolis working for FOX59/CBS4 as an associate producer. There he filled-in produced on a number of newscasts for both stations and assisted producers with writing news copy. His heart, however, has always been reporting and he is excited to finally get in front of the camera.
He is fluent in Spanish. Ruben got his start in TV news at Indiana University, where he studied broadcast journalism. During his time there, he worked at IU’s student station as a producer, anchor, and reporter. He also interned at KAKE News in Wichita, Kan. for a summer.
