Samantha Myers is an American journalist working as an anchor for ABC21/WPTA21 News. She attended the University of Missouri. She graduated with a degree in Broadcast Journalism.

While going to college, she functioned as a correspondent, maker, and anchor at KOMU-TV8 in Columbia, Missouri.

Her first occupation was with KCRG-TV9 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. There she announced the 10 p.m. broadcasts.

She was likewise a fill-in anchor when required. In 2018 and 2019 she filled in as an end-of-the-week morning columnist at FOX59 and CBS4 in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Presently she is a workday morning anchor at WPTA ABC21 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She is eager to become more acquainted with the network and keep revealing to Hoosier stories!

This is what she said on her Instagram account, “It’s finally time to make my big announcement! A week from today is my last day at WPTA. This was not an easy decision for me at all.

I love Fort Wayne and all the amazing people I’ve met here, but it’s time to move back home to Michigan to be close to family. I’ve been moving around every couple of years for 10 years and It’s just time. I’m getting out of the TV news business entirely so I have no doubt next Friday will be an emotional one for me because it’ll likely be my last newscasts ever.

I got to live my dream and I’m so incredibly thankful to all the people that cheered me on along the way and helped me grow. Thank you to all of you who have welcomed me into your homes every day and said “hello” to me out in the community it has meant so much.

To all the journalists still out there grinding every day, I will always cheer you on and have so much respect for what you do. Journalism is so important. Support your local journalists they need your support now more than ever.”
