Outside the newsroom, Sanika is attempting to find how quickly her old neighborhood has developed since she’s lived here last!

Prior to getting back to her old neighborhood of Orlando, Sanika was an anchor/reporter at sister station WPBF 25 News in West Palm Beach, FL, where she firmly covered President Donald Trump‘s mission, and field anchored from Mar a Lago during his visits to the Winter White House. During her two years in South Florida, Sanika likewise covered breaking news.

She went through 36 hours on the ground during the Pulse club slaughter; covered the demise of Former Prime Minister Fidel Castro from Little Havana; drove live group inclusion during the Fort Lauderdale Airport shooting; followed the wobble of Hurricane Matthew; secured one end to the other inclusion during Hurricane Irma, and headed out to the Keys to evaluate the annihilation abandoned by the eye of the tempest.
