Theodore Raymond Knight best known as T. R. Knight is an American actor. He was born on March 26th, 1973 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

He started acting at age 5 where he was involved with the Guthrie Theater. He went to Annunciation Catholic School located in Minneapolis for grades K-8. He received the Conners Foundation Scholarship and went to the Children’s Theater Company. He attended the Academy of Holy Angels located in Richfield and then enrolled at the University of St. Thomas before he dropped out.

One of the young doctors and the show’s namesake, Meredith Grey, is the daughter of a famous surgeon.
Grey struggles to maintain relationships with her colleagues, particularly the hospital’s one-time chief of surgery, Richard Webber, due to a pre-existing relationship between them – Webber and Meredith’s mother had a personal relationship when Meredith was young.
