Tate Stevens was born Stephen “Tater” Eatinger. He is an American country music artist. He won the second season of the U.S. The X Factor. Specifically in 2012. In effect securing a $5 million recording contract with Syco Music and RCA Records Nashville. Carl Rose Sonenclar came second to him.

Stevens stated that he would like to make a predominantly “fun” record. Hoping to co-write some of the songs. He specifically stated he would like to work with Luke Laird and Kim Tribble. Stevens was successfully signed to RCA Records Nashville on January 15, 2013. He then released his debut song “Holler If You’re With Me”. The song was in a commercial produced by Pepsi. It went on to be aired during the 2013 Grammy Awards on February 10, 2013. Immediately afterward the full-length music video for the song became available online. The video for the song used about 100 extras. It focuses on a “big bonfire party”, in particular.
