He additionally chipped away at grounds; as an On-Air character at Hit-Mix 88.9 WEIU, as a games journalist for The Daily Eastern Newspaper, and played by-play for different Eastern Illinois University sports over the Ohio Valley Conference Digital Network.
While in school, Vince won a few honors from; NATAS Mid-America Student Awards for Excellence (Sports), Illinois News Broadcasters Association (Sports), and the Illinois Broadcasters Association (Radio).
Vince interned at NBC Sports Chicago in the Summer of 2018 as a Digital/Multi-Platform Intern where he was a sportswriter for their site.
He was the Vice President of Eastern Illinois University’s Chapter of the Society of Collegiate Journalists and an individual from the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
He discovered his adoration for news-casting in secondary school where he began doing in-depth his lesser and senior years for their varsity baseball and b-ball groups “live” on YouTube.
