The 58-year-old, Roberts is the anchor of ABC’s morning shows Good Morning America. After growing up in Mississippi and attending Southeastern Louisiana University, Roberts was a sports anchor for local TV and radio stations.

Roberts was a sportscaster on ESPN for 15 years. She became co-anchor on Good Morning America in 2005. She has been treated for breast cancer and for myelodysplastic syndrome. On October 10, 2018, Roberts was selected as a mentor for Disney’s #DreamBigPrincess campaign.

WNBA player Sheryl Swoopes announced that she was gay in 2005. She stated, “it doesn’t change who I am. I can’t help who I fall in love with. No one can. Discovering I’m gay just sort of happened much later in life. Being intimate with Alisa or any other woman never entered my mind.

“At the same time, I’m a firm believer that when you fall in love with somebody, you can’t control that,” Swoopes said. She and her partner, former basketball player, and Houston Comets assistant coach Alisa Scott, together raised Swoopes’ son. The duo later broke up in 2011.

Swoopes has won three Olympic Gold Medals and is a three-time WNBA MVP.

Commonly referred to as the “female Michael Jordan,” Swoopes is famous for both her offensive and defensive skills. In 2005, she averaged 18.6 points, 85% free throws, 4.3 assists, 2.65 steals and 37.1 minutes playing time per game. she was voted in by fans as one of the Top 15 players in WNBA history in 2011.
