Dan Daru Biography

Dan Daru is a reporter on FOX31 Denver & Colorado’s Own Channel 2. He was born in Detroit, Michigan. Moved to Denver as a wee lad. He attended John F. Kennedy High School in Denver.

He went on to study applied Science degree in Criminology at Red Rocks Community College. He then graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Metropolitan State University of Denver, and a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Metropolitan State University of Denver

Dan’s first TV job in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina as a news photographer and the Chief Photographer at KBAK in Bakersfield, California. He then worked as a General Assignment reporter for KWGN.

He is also Channel 2’s General Assignment reporter, KDVR Fox 31, Denver His favorite story is WWII Soldiers of the 10th Mountain Division.
