Lauren Wallace Biography

Lauren Wallace is an American journalist working as a meteorologist for KSEE 24 News. Lauren was born in Orange County and experienced childhood in Georgia. While going to the University of Denver, she took a few meteorology courses and understood her enthusiasm for the climate.

She acquired her B.S. in Meteorology from North Carolina State University and is an individual from both the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. In her leisure time, Lauren appreciates climbing and moving in the Sierra, or investing energy with her feline, CL.

Lauren is the main Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) on the morning news in the Fresno market. This is the most significant level of differentiation granted by the American Meteorological Society.

Lauren has lived, worked, or traversed the vast majority of the US and carries insight with a wide range of climates to the Central Valley. She has covered everything from cyclones to snowstorms, flooding, and ice storms.

Before KSEE24, Lauren filled in as the morning/early afternoon meteorologist in Saginaw, MI. She began her vocation as the Chief Meteorologist in Alpena, MI, where she got two Merit grants for best weathercasts from the Michigan Association of Broadcasters.

Lauren has appreciated exchanging the freezing climate for the mid-year heat and gentle winters of the Central Valley.
