Max Fernandez Biography
Max Fernandez is an American journalist working as an anchor for KGNS TV News. He was born in Laredo. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin. He earned a degree in Radio-Television-Film and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Speech.

He started anchoring and revealing at KGNS in the Gateway City back in the last part of the 1990s. He had recently worked at KTBC Fox 7 in Austin.
Following two years, he kept on covering the Texas/Mexico Border as he functioned as the Chief Bureau Reporter in Cameron County for the Rio Grande Valley’s Channel 5 News KRGV.
In 2003, he started working at the CNN subsidiary News 9 San Antonio, a 24-hour link news station serving the South Texas Region. He got back to school and got a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and accepted his accreditation to educate.
Prior to entering the homeroom, he moored, delivered, and helped with the startup of the CW Newscast in Laredo. Following two years, he started a ten-year residency with the Laredo Independent School District where he filled in as an English Teacher at J.W. Nixon High School.
