Micah Wilson Biography

Micah Wilson is an American journalist working as a reporter for KFMS CBS5 News. Micah is from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He is pleased to come to us from his neighborhood Chisholm Creek (also known as the Creek) in OKC.

He grew up with his father, mother, two sisters, and sibling. Who all offer the initials M.R.W. He loves to attempt new food places in and out of town and pay attention to music (particularly hip-hop.)

Micah loves engaging locally. He desires to proceed to investigate and chip in NWA/River Valley. Assuming you have volunteer freedoms, story thoughts, music playlists, or are searching for an everyday chuckle.

Wilson joined the 5NEWS group as a multi-talented columnist in March 2021. He has an enthusiasm for recounting stories to illuminate, associate, and intensify the voices of the local area.

He joins 5NEWS from UCentral News, the understudy-run TV station at the University of Central Oklahoma (UCO.) There, he filled in as an anchor, journalist, and climate anchor.

While going to UCO, Micah became engaged with a few understudy associations. Like a congressperson for the understudy government, head of the educational plan for the authority institute, an individual from Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc., president for the college’s part of the NAACP, and the establishing leader of the college’s Association of Black Journalists; which he is currently a counselor for.
