Mitch McCoy is an American journalist working as a Breaking News anchor for KLRT FOX16 News. He grew up in West Michigan. In his extra time, Mitch appreciates climbing, photography, and finding the shrouded treasures Arkansas has to bring to the table.

McCoy rejoined our group as a Breaking News Anchor in July 2020 after momentarily leaving to seek after different endeavors. He was initially employed in October 2015 as a General Assignment Reporter.

Mitch’s enthusiasm for news-casting started at a youthful age. He endeavors to give casualties a voice, considering the amazing response and sharing accounts of individuals who are needing assistance.

Mitch won an Emmy for serious climate inclusion in 2016. Prior to coming to Arkansas, he filled in as a commentator, columnist, and producer at KQTV in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Prior to hopping into TV, Mitch worked in radio as a reporter and maker in St. Louis, Missouri, and in West Michigan.
