Deja Brown is an American journalist working as a reporter/anchor for WDSU 6 News. A local New Orleanian, Deja is a fanatic Saints fan! She is an alum of North Carolina A&T State University and has a Master’s certificate from Syracuse University.
In her extra time, she appreciates venturing out and rewarding the local area. Deja is eager to get back to New Orleans and get to work assisting you through your morning with driving.

Deja joined WDSU in September of 2021 as the workday morning traffic anchor and made it known journalist. Before joining WDSU, Deja burned through 2 years in Joplin, Missouri as the workday morning anchor for KSNF-TV.
Deja has consistently had energy for narrating and facetiously says she’s been a writer since she was 10 when she started announcing for her school’s morning broadcast in the 4th level.
That enthusiasm has powered a considerable lot of her editorial undertakings and added to her turning into an honor-winning columnist. Deja is a pleased individual from Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., and The National Association of Black Journalists.
