Time flies when you’re having fun. Sean Fazende joined FOX 8 Sports in 2008, then full-time in 2009, and is now the longest tenured reporter in the sports department. Born in New Orleans, raised in Terrytown, Sean went to Brother Martin high school and LSU. His first job out of college was at HTV in Houma then spent four years as a producer at another local station.
In 2012, he took on the role of Saints insider where he’s become part anchor, part story-breaker and part analyst on all things black and gold. He plays a prominent role in Game Plan, Final Play, Jim Henderson’s Black and Gold Review and the FOX 8 Live Tailgate.
His film study segments have become a must-watch for hardcore football fans in New Orleans. His blog, After Further Review, has become a favorite as well. On it he posts his Sunday night post-game columns, Saints mock drafts and other analysis that viewers/readers crave. Sean also co-anchors ‘FOX 8 Football Friday,’ the department’s 30-minute high school football show.
Sean is married to his wife, Ashley, and has two daughters, Mila and Aspen. He’s also gym addict and has developed an eye for fashion, in particular, suits. He’s also a regular player in flag football leagues around the city.
